Tiara-Ann Perdue is a 4th grade teacher at Mililani Uka Elementary School in her first year of teaching after being a police radio dispatcher for the Honolulu Police Department for 6 years.  She graduated from Chaminade University last year with her elementary education degree, which has been one of her biggest goals in her life until now. Tiara and husband have 4 cats and plan to have children one day. Tiara enjoys to play and watch sports of all kinds, as well as perform and listen to music of all genres.  Three characteristics to describe Tiara would be confident, resilient, and hard-working. She hopes to inspire others to be comfortable and confident in the person that they are, and not to let what others think bring them down. – mililani
