Frequently Asked Questions

What if I dont have any children?
You do not have to have any children to compete.

Am I too old to win? Do I have to be married long to win?
The judges are looking for a articulate, well rounded, married woman. It is not her AGE that is being judged nor the number of years she has been married.

Is there a height requirement?
There is no height requirement to enter or win. Our state winners have ranged in heights from 5’1 to 5’11.

Do I need to have any previous pageant experience to enter?
Absolutely No. Many of our state winners have had almost no experience. They are your typical hardworking married women who wanted to step out of their comfort zone and give this a try. And, in addition, we provide our pageant training workshops to help prepare you for this exciting experience, no need to hire a coach!

Is there a Talent phase?
No. We believe that being married is talent enough!

Will I be judged on community service?
No. Realistically most married women are extremely busy with their careers and families; they are contributing to the community by virtue of serving their own families.

Is there an entry fee?
Yes. We encourage our district titleholders to raise the entry fee through family, friends etc. After all they have been exclusively selected to represent the married women in their areas. The entry fee covers the cost of doing business such as Pageant training workshops, printing, advertising, rental of rehearsal rooms, etc.

Are there local competitions I must enter first?
There are no local competitions, all contestants come directly to the state competition. Local district titles are awarded on a first come first serve basis.

How is the pageant judged?
Each contestant will be judged by a panel of 5 judges. Judging criteria includes character, poise, confidence, and personality.

If I win, will it interfere with my work, family, kids, etc? No. Work is important to sustain your life and family. Our program only encourages you to seek what you are comfortable doing in regards to community service, family activities etc. Almost all of your appearances, celebrity events, and charity work will take place during the weekends. We know our married women have a very busy life!

Pageant Info for Judging Criteria

Our delegates are judged in three areas:

Interview
Pageant judges spend time with each delegate to learn about her family life, her goals and aspirations. Attention is focused on her poise, charm, self-confidence, and her ability to communicate.

Swimsuit
Contestants are allowed to wear One piece swimsuit and sheer pantyhose(optional). All body types are different and cannot be compared. Focus is on the confidence with which each contestant carries herself in her swimsuit.

Evening Gown
Each delegate wears a gown she has chosen for herself. Attention is focused on each contestant’s overall appearance, self-confidence, sense of style, and the beauty she brings to the gown of her choice.
There’s no talent competition and no previous pageant experience is necessary.

Our contestants will learn the importance of the responsibilities that come along with winning the title, prizes, pageant sponsors, community and to the state she will be representing for the coming year. There’s no end to the possibilities and opportunities our new state winner will have. It’s a matter of making the most out of them.
